OREANDA-NEWS. February 24, 2014. Omsk Polypropylene Plant specialists proceeded to making polymer for free-flow pipes manufacture, sewer and drainage systems. New production is already being shipped to consumers.

The enterprise received first commercial batches of pipe grade PP H007 EX polypropylene. “Poliom” plant’s production control laboratory corroborated conformity of manufactured goods quality to technical specifications. After attestation’s results the new grade of polypropylene received passport of conformity to technical specifications.

The product has low fluidity and is resistant to thermal-oxidation ageing. The new grade is meant for the making of free-flow pipes, fittings, sewer and drainage systems’ elements.

Let us mention, that since the start of work according to schedule the enterprise mastered production of several grades of commercial polypropylene, among them – PP H030 GP (general purpose polypropylene for extrusion, compounding, molding under pressure), PP H031 BF (polypropylene for the making of BOPP-film), PP H007 EX (polypropylene for extrusion and molding of free-flow sewer and drainage systems) etc.

Omsk Polypropylene Plant of 180 kt capacity was ceremonially opened on 25 April, 2013. Since the startup the enterprise was given ecological vector for development: “Poliom” uses advanced technologies which provide maximal protection of environment, and closed production cycle allows to minimize harmful emissions into atmosphere.
