OREANDA-NEWS. February 24, 2014. Air Astana’s fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft has grown to eight, following the latest delivery on the 8th of February. The new aircraft was delivered to us direct from the manufacturer.

The Airbus A320 is a narrow-body jet airliner equipped with fuel-efficient wingtips (sharklets) and is configured with 16 seats in business class and 148 in economy. The new aircraft will be integrated into the airline’s existing route network. 
 
Also, a new Embraer 190 is expected in February and two more Airbus A320s in March. A new Boeing 767 will arrive in the middle of the year. As a result, by the end of 2014, the average age of Air Astana’s fleet will be five years, making it one of the youngest fleets in the world.
