OREANDA-NEWS. February 21, 2014. The development of the metal industry is one of the priorities of Kyzylorda Region’s Akim Krymbek Kusherbayev. Action Plans of Akim for 2013 and 2014 identifies the creation of a metallurgical cluster, mining and processing of rare-earth, non-ferrous and ferrous metals.

Taking into account the development prospects of metallurgy, Industrial and Agricultural College in the Shieli village will be redeveloped for training of specialists for the metallurgical industry. The college will get some major repairs and be equipped. In addition, teachers of proper disciplines will be trained there.

It is also planned that "Kazatomprom" will found a college for its industry. Administration of the region together with the oil and gas companies will begin the construction of a Training Center for human resource development needed at hydrocarbonic raw material mining.

In general, Action Plan states it is necessary to revive the school vocational guidance, to strengthen the work with the enterprises for those personnel is trained for in the vocational training system. The main principle is the training at actual production when the theory reinforces practical skills. Therefore, dual training will be introduced in these schools.
