OREANDA-NEWS. February 20, 2014. The Kazakhstanis, especially residents of Almaty and Astana city, have been receiving a large amount of suspicious SMS and messages in WhatsApp Messenger lately.

In particular, these messages inform about forthcoming bankruptcy of three banks: Alliance bank, kaspi bank and Bank CenterCredit.

Top managers and shareholders of Alliance bank, kaspi bank, Bank CenterCredit and Financial Institutions Association of Kazakhstan officially state that this information is an act of provocation aimed at destabilization of Kazakhstan’s financial system.

All three banks and Financial Institutions Association of Kazakhstan filed suits to law enforcement agencies in order to bring initiators of the attack to administrative and criminal responsibility in accordance with applicable legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Devaluation that had taken place influenced on exchange rate, however new exchange rate will not affect stability of Kazakhstan banks working with population.

All three banks are participants of the State Deposit Insurance Fund.
