Call-Center of National Health Insurance Company Opened in Moldova
OREANDA-NEWS. February 19, 2014. During the opening of the center, the Prime Minister Iurie Leanca noted that the main objective of the government is to create a health care system responsive to the population needs. The head of the government stressed that it is very important that Moldavian citizens were aware of the reforms held in the health care and health insurance systems as well as of benefits of their modernization.
To date citizens will be able to ask their questions about the medical insurance system directly, contacting the communication center. The Minister of health care Andrei Usatii noted that the centre will provide consulting services and prompt information of unofficial payments, so the citizens will be able to inform about such cases. The World Health Organization representative in Moldova Jarno Habichi noted that Moldova has achieved much in this field and can share its experience with other countries.
It is possible to contact the Call-centre free of charge from mobile or ordinary phone from any locality in the working days from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on 0800 9999. It is planned that about 10 thousand of calls will be received every month. Call-centre of the National health insurance company was opened within the framework of the project “Improving access to the phone consultations in the field of health care in Moldova. Stage II” implemented with the support of the Foreign Ministry of Estonia, the National insurance Fund of Tallinn and consulting center of Estonia.
