Kazakhstan Improves Licensing System
OREANDA-NEWS. February 17, 2014. Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Bakhytzhan Sagintayev chaired the 11th meeting of the Inter-agency committee on improving the licensing system in Ukimet Uiy.
The meeting considered the revision of the legislation regarding the abrogation of regulations preventing the development of business. The corresponding order of the President outlined in his Address to the Nation of Kazakhstan "Kazakhstan's way - 2050: common goal, common interests, common future".
Following the meeting, the Committee decided to abrogate and simplify 43 legislative regulations.
In particular, the Code of Administrative Violations provides for an amendment defining the responsibility of officials for violation of terms of licensing and unjustified refusal to license.
The Land Code simplifies the procedure for obtaining land for construction within settlements, and introduces the principle of "one window", time for issuance of documents has been reduced.
In addition, the terms binding to set cash registers to entrepreneurs working in the field of sale of alcoholic beverages and fuel have been extended in the Internal Revenue Code from July 1, 2014 to July 1, 2015.
Work in this direction will be continued on continuing basis.
