Kazakhstan Does Not Expect Price Increases for Bread
OREANDA-NEWS. February 17, 2014. Price increases for bread related to the adjustment of tenge rate to the dollar are not expected. This was announced by the Minister of Agriculture Asylzhan Mamytbekov in Central Communications Service.
"We can say with confidence that the government and state-owned companies have all possibilities to keep price for bread.
There will not be any rises in prices for bread of the first grade due to established mechanisms and opportunities. Food companies have half million tons of grain and, if necessary, the government will distribute this grain to keep prices. Market prices have been functioning until now and there is no reason for price rise," A. Mamytbekov said.
