Press Service of TATNEFT Receives Award
OREANDA-NEWS. February 17, 2014. Journalists of TATNEFT were conferred prestigious awards in accordance with the results of the XIXth annual International journalistic contest PEGAZ "Best publication on Russian Fuel and Energy Complex problems".
The first prize of the international contest was awarded to the editorial board of the electronic periodical "Oil newspaper".
The editorial staff of the JSC TATNEFT's TV studio received an honorary diploma in the nomination "For a series of television programs/film".
Elvira Gataullina, Deputy Chief Editor of the "Oil News" newspaper, was awarded a diploma for "Best material about the head of an energy company in a newspaper, magazine, on television, radio and the Internet", and Gulnaz Yaminova, correspondent of the same newspaper, for "The best material about a modern hero of labor in a newspaper, magazine, television, on radio and the Internet".
The organizer of the international "PEGAZ" contest is the All-Russian Public Energy Journalism Academy with participation of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, the State Corporation "Rosatom", National Association of Broadcasters, JSC "Gazprom", JSC TATNEFT and other oil/gas and energy companies and organizations.
The purpose of the contest is attracting through the media the attention of the general public, political, governmental and business structures to the development problems of the Russian Fuel & Energy Complex, increasing the competence of journalists in covering the activities of the Fuel and Energy Complex and consolidation of the journalists covering the Fuel and Energy Complex issues.
Holding of the contest has turned into a bright and interesting tradition conducive to attracting public attention to the problems of one of the key sectors of the Russian economy. This contest is also one of the ways to identify the most talented, professional and competent representatives of the media. Over the two decades of its existence, the contest has initially grown from an industry branch level to the All-Russian one and then changed its status to the international level.
It was attended by more than 5,000 journalists from 68 regions of Russia, as well as Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Ukraine, Estonia and Germany.
