OREANDA-NEWS. February 14, 2014. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received Economy Minister of the Republic of Turkey Nihat Zeybekci, who arrived in the Turkmen capital leading a delegation to participate in the Turkish Export Products Exhibition. Economy Minister of the Republic of Turkey Nihat Zeybekci noted that Turkey attached great importance to building up fruitful economic relations and strengthening fraternal relations with Turkmenistan.

Chairman of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey Mustafa Rifat Hisarc?kl?oglu and Chairman of the Turkish Exporters’ Assembly Mehmet Buyukeksi attended the meeting. The guests conveyed cordial greetings and best wishes on behalf of President of the Republic of Turkey Abdullah Gul and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan to the leader of Turkmenistan.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the representatives of the Turkish delegation discussed topical aspects of Turkmen-Turkish cooperation during the meeting. A focus of talks was promotion of humanitarian cooperation. The sides confirmed their commitment to deepening relations in education, science, culture and tourism.

Upon concluding the meeting, the President of Turkmenistan and the Economy Minister of Turkey expressed belief that Turkmen-Turkish partnership would continue to develop successfully.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey Turkmenistan Sevki Mutevellioglu attended the meeting.
