The corresponding order on his dismissal was signed by the Minister of transport and road infrastructure Vasile Botnari after the meeting with the Railway of Moldova management. As the Deputy Minister of transport of road infrastructure Vladimir Cebotari noted, Andrei Domascan was dismissed since he did not meet professional expectations, and the pace of reform of Railway of Moldova was low.

It is planned that the acting Director General of the state enterprise "Railway of Moldova" will be performed by Sergey Tomsa. As it is noted in the Ministry of transport and road infrastructure, the Minister of Railway of Moldova Vasile Botnari noted that he is concerned about the slow pace of reform in this strategic enterprise, which requires dynamic modernization plan, based on the actions of the structural reorganization and improvement of the internal management. Vasile Botnari called for the dismissal of the General Director of the enterprise Andrei Domascan, who, in his opinion, is responsible for timely fulfillment of the above objectives and targets.

"The railway network in Moldova requires urgent reforms, attraction of significant investments for the development of the enterprise, both in terms of infrastructure and rolling stock, as well as for promotion of the internal structure. It is essential that the entire management of the enterprise was mobilized for the qualitative and urgent changes on the "Railway of Moldova", - said Vasile Botnari.
