New Vice Minister Appointed in Kazakh MINT
OREANDA-NEWS. February 13, 2014. Yerlan Sagadiyev is appointed Vice Minister of Industry and New Technologies (MINT) of Kazakhstan.
"Sagadiyev Yerlan Kenzhegaliyevich is appointed Vice Minister of Industry and New Technologies by Government Regulation of Kazakhstan №66 of February 7," the MINT reports.
Yerlan Sagadiyev was born in 1966, Kazakh. In 1990 he graduated from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University by "economy" speciality, got qualification of economist - Professor of Political Economy. In 1993 he graduated from University of Minnesota in Minneapolis Department of Applied Economics, the USA, holds a Master of Science degree.
He began his career in 1990 as the Second Secretary for Development of International Economic Relations of the Department of Applied Economics of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
From 2003 to 2009 he was the Chairman of the Directors Board of JSC "New Technologies. Kazakhstan", served as a director-general. He served as the president of the University of International Business (Almaty), (2004 - 2012).
From December 2007 he was the Counselor of Prime Minister of Kazakhstan.
In 2008 - 2009 years he filled a position of Independent Director of JSC "Investment Fund" (Almaty).
From 2009 to 2012 he was the Chairman of Board of Directors "Frontier Mining" (London, UK), also the President of International University of Information Technology (Almaty).
From 2010 to 2011 he was the Chairman of Board of Directors of the Academy of the Regional Financial Center (Almaty).
From 2012 to 2013 he served as the Counselor of Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
