The parties exchanged opinions on vistas development of investment cooperation between Kazakhstan and the USA, and also discussed the agenda of the upcoming meeting of the Board to improve the investment climate in Kazakhstan.

Issues of local content and work permits, customs and tax issues, as well as measures against corruption are to be discussed by the American Chamber of Commerce in Kazakhstan.

The trade turnover between Kazakhstan and the United States totaled USD 2.75 billion (exports - 394 million, imports - 2.36 billion) during January-December 2013 which is more for 9% than in 2012.
