OREANDA-NEWS. The Taganrog Boiler-Making Works “Krasny Kotelshchik”, which is a part of the power plant concern OJSC Power Machines, has completed the next stage of the production modernization - it has switched off 96 electric overhead travelling cranes for the floor operation at 8 sites.

“The implementation of the next stage of the investment program is an essential part of the production facilities modernization of Krasny Kotelshchik. The switch-over of the travelling cranes for the remote operation provides the optimal level of costs connected with the maintenance of this equipment as well as creates the safest labour conditions for workers”, emphasizes ILya Subbotin, CEO of PJSC TKZ Krasny Kotelshchik.

The use of new technologies enables to carry out finishing operations quicker, precisely position the installed cargo, as well as to switch on and move large-sized equipment simultaneously using a single remote control panel.
