Belarus' Minsk Sparkling Wines Plant Gets New CEO
OREANDA-NEWS. The Supervision Board of Belarus' OAO Minsk Sparkling Wines Plant approves Andrei Baranov as the winery's director general, a source in the Belarusian government told.
The candidacy of Andrei Baranov was proposed by the state-owned concern Belgospischeprom. Baranov used to work as Vice Chairman of Belgospischeprom for several years.
The former director general of OAO Minsk Sparkling Wines Plant was forced to leave his post in December 2013.
Minsk Sparkling Wines Plant was established in 1978; it makes 80 varieties of beverages; annual output is estimated at 12 million bottles.
The company's output totalled Br438.81 billion (USD 45.662 million) in Jan-Dec 2013, up 21.5% on the year.
