China's Oil-Processing Volume Up 3,3% in 2013
OREANDA-NEWS. February 12, 2014. China, the world's second-largest oil consumer, processed 479 million metric tons of crude oil last year, 3.3% more than in the previous year, according to the latest statistics released by the National Bureau of Statistics.
In Dec, the country's oil-processing volume climbed 0.2% year on year to 42.02 million metric tons.
The Bureau also said that the country's coke output increased 8.1% year on year to 476 million metric tons in 2013. The country produced 39.81 million metric tons of coke in Dec, reflecting a growth of 9.2% year on year.
China saw its electricity output rise 8.3% year on year to 478 terawatt hours in Dec, taking its electricity output reach 5,245.1 TWhs in total in 2013.
