Sberbank Private Banking, the business area of the Sberbank Group that provides financial and accompanying services to high-net-worth individuals, announces the appointment of Alla Aleynikova as Head of Group, Executive Director. In this role, Alla’s responsibilities will include developing the business and servicing major clients. She joined the company on February 10, 2014, and reports to Elena Shilina, Head of Sberbank Private Banking.

Alla Aleynikova joins Sberbank Private Banking from the private banking division of UBS in Moscow. She relocated to Moscow from New York, where she worked at the international division of UBS. Prior to that Alla spent eleven years at Citigroup in the U.S. and Chile. Alla’s key specialties are banking and investment services, complex structured deals involving derivatives and credit instruments, and using trusts as inheritance planning tools. In addition, over her career Alla has gained experience in working with clients who are interested in creating charity foundations and forming art collections. This enabled her to broaden her expertise and make many contacts in this area. Alla holds a master’s degree from the London School of Economics and a bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University (Washington, USA). Also she possesses U.S. financial industry licences 7, 66, and 3 and is a Certified Wealth Management Advisor (CWMA, Switzerland).

This appointment is the latest in a number of senior hires aimed at strengthening and broadening the team of Sberbank Private Banking. Previously the team was joined by Anna Tokaeva as Head of High Net Worth Clients Unit, Managing Director, Vasiliy Sofiyskiy, Head of Ultra High Net Worth Clients Unit, Managing Director, and also Rudolf Scherrer as Deputy Head of Private Banking.
