OREANDA-NEWS. On 7 February 2014, a contract was signed by SIA Merks - part of AS Merko Ehitus group - and Riga State Technical School to perform the construction works of several buildings in the school campus at 64 Darzciemas street, Riga, Latvia.

The scope of works includes reconstruction of the main campus building and the metal works laboratory building with total area of 3 926 m?. Under the contract, SIA Merks will also build a new laboratory building with total area 3 162 m?.

The contract value is 4.8 million euros, plus value added tax. The works are to start in February 2014 and scheduled for completion in June 2015.

AS Merko Ehitus comprises the leading Estonian construction company AS Merko Ehitus Eesti, the Latvian market based SIA Merks and the Lithuanian market based UAB Merko Statyba as well as the group's real estate development business unit together with companies holding real estate properties.
