Belorusneft Becomes Brand of People's Choice
OREANDA-NEWS. Belorusneft filling station network has won yet another award.
Belorusneft has won “National Brand” award in the “Best Filling Station Network” category.
“National Brand” is the first contest in the country in which the winner is selected via consumer voting using questionnaires published in the mass media and the web. The contest is supervised by the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Belarus.
Belorusneft gained consumers recognition of the entire country as well as the “National Brand” award due to its strategy aimed at meeting the customers' needs.
Belorusneft is continuously improving its services within the brand filling station network, offering new features which might come in handy on the road. However, apart from their number we focus on making our multipurpose filling facilities even more ergonomic: so that the entire set of services at Belorusneft filling stations is easy to use.
Among the special features of the production program of the current year is reconstructing a considerable number of filling stations. It is expected to upgrade 15 filling complexes within the system of oil products supply of Belorusneft in 2014. For reference, 6 stations were reconstructed last year. It is also planned to build 18 new filling stations.
Special focus is given to cleaning and improvement of sanitary services at the station premises.
Moreover, modernization of oil product storage facilities will continue in 2014. Currently, the enterprise is implementing the concept of the bulk plants development until 2020. According to the program, about 20 bulk plants are to be liquidated, closed or converted into mini-liquid bulk terminals. The reconstruction of oil products storage warehouses was completed in Novopolotsk and Grodno last year. In 2014, the main facilities will be Gomel and Fanipol (Minsk region) bulk plants, as well as a storage warehouse in an agricultural town Krulevschina, Dokshitsy district, Vitebsk region.
Belorusneft pipeline transport is also being upgraded. It is expected that in a few years up to 80 % of the total amount of fuel will be supplied to consumers through the pipeline system. Thus, the costs of transfer and storage of oil products and bulk plants maintenance will be reduces. The main focus in terms of implementation will shift from bulk plants to filling stations. One of the ambitious projects is to connect several storage warehouses of Gomel, Brest and Grodno regions with a pipeline.
All of it reflects the main trend of further development of bulk plants: enhancement of the logistics of transportation, reduction of costs, and increase in the level of automation.
