OREANDA-NEWS. In 2013, Ulyanovskcement, which is part of EUROCEMENT Group, provided charitable assistance to various organizations and institutions in the Ulyanovsk Region.

The company provided financial assistance to the Social and wellbeing center for elderly citizens and people with disabilities in Novoulyanovsk. The wellbeing center is important for the entire region, and hosts rehabilitation treatments for the elderly and those with disabilities from all over the Ulyanovsk Region.

In January 2013, with financial support from Ulyanovskcement, an open championship in model airplane construction was held in Novoulyanovsk for the first time ever. The championship has become an annual event, and was held for the second time in 2014, again with financial support from the company.

Ulyanovskcement takes part each year in the regional charitable campaign 'Help them get ready for school'. Thanks to the company's support in 2013, 16 children from large families and families with low incomes in Novoulyanovsk were given sports kit, shoes and stationary.

In the summer, the company also provided charitable support to people in the Far-Eastern Federal District who had fallen victim to flooding, by sending 20 tonnes of containerized cement to this region.

In 2013, EUROCEMENT Group provided support as a sponsor of the 5th V. Leontyeva International Festival of films and TV shows for all the family, 'From the heart', in the Ulyanovsk Region. The holding has been the General partner of the festival ever since it came into being, and provides support every year.
