Sberbank Europe AG Announces New Head of Global Markets
OREANDA-NEWS. February 10, 2014. Sberbank Europe AG announces the appointment of Tamas Haiman as Head of Global Markets. Tamas will join Sberbank Europe AG.
He will be based in Vienna and will report to Igor Strehl, Member of the Management Board, Sberbank Europe AG, and Alexey Zaytsev, Head of Regional and International GM Management, Managing Director, Global Markets Department, Sberbank CIB.
Tamas brings nearly twenty years of experience across European capital markets to his new role. Prior to joining Sberbank Europe AG, Tamas Haiman spent four years in London at Citibank, as Director, Corporate Sales and Derivatives Marketing for Russia, Central & Eastern Europe and Turkey. Tamas also spent three years at Barclays Capital London, where he worked as the Head of the Risk Solutions Group for Russia, Central & Eastern Europe and Turkey. Before this, Tamas accrued nine years at Societe Generale in various roles encompassing different instruments in multiple markets. These included Director, Interest Rate Derivatives and Weather Derivatives Sales across Europe, Director of Corporate and Investment Banking and Head of Sales for Capital Markets and Treasury. Mr Haiman also gained experience working in Corporate Finance for ING Barings in Budapest and started his career in 1996 as an options and futures trader for Trans Market Group, part of the Chicago Board of Trade.
