OREANDA-NEWS. February 07, 2014. In January, 2014, the increase of all main production performance data at Zaporizhstal SW was noted: iron production volume grew up for 1.7%, steel production — for 2.3%, rolled stock production — for 3.9%.

In January, 2014, they produced 283.8 thousand tons of iron, 336.6 thousand tons of steel, 293.4 thousand tons of rolled stock.

“In 2014, we are planning to further growth of all key production performance data, to raise effectiveness of our enterprise. And those money, that we would be able to earn additionally due to raise of effectiveness, in the first place, we would spend this money for ecological modernization of our enterprise and for upgrading of social standards for our employees”, — the General Director of Zaporizhstal Steel Works Rostyslav Shurma noted.
