OREANDA-NEWS. February 07, 2014. PSB has become a member of the International Swaps and Derivatives Association, Inc (ISDA).

The membership enables PSB to gain access to ISDA research, databases and directories, and to use them in the Bank's operations in the swaps and derivatives market. In addition, PSB is entitled to participate in ISDA committees and working groups, international conferences, educational lectures and workshops.

"Membership in the ISDA reflects rapid development of PSB as a professional financial markets participant. It is important to us to be part of an organization that was established to improve the quality of the market mechanisms and its participants' operations", says Anna Belyaeva, PSB Vice President and Head of Financial Markets.

ISDA was established in 1985 as an international association of swap dealers. Today, ISDA is an international financial trading organization with more than 800 members from more than 60 countries, operating in the financial derivatives market, including leading global investment banks and the central (national) banks. ISDA promotes development of a reliable and efficient derivatives market and also ensures legal regulation of risk in transactions for all market participants.
