OREANDA-NEWS. Taking crisis-management measures aimed at maintaining the company's personnel and avoiding overstocking under conditions of the stagnating market of heavy trucks, OJSC KAMAZ decided to introduce a four-day working week for some of its employees in February with days off on Fridays paid in the amount of two-thirds of their average wage.

The personnel of departments which sell and deliver products, make spare parts, bus chassis and products of diversification, and also the Central Accounting Department compiling and submitting annual and tax accounts will work according to the company's usual five-day schedule. KAMAZ's employees who maintain unceasing operation of production units will also work full-time. Departments responsible for scheduled, repair and preventive works will operate as usual.

Sergey Kogogin, Director General of OJSC KAMAZ, gave instructions to the Section of Sales and Service to increase the stock of orders during this month in order to cancel the forced days off and load the production units with work.
