OREANDA-NEWS. February 06, 2014. Standard & Poor’s Credit Rating Agency has named Sviaz-Bank (Vnesheconombank Group) among the 13 nationally recognized Russian banks having S&P credit ratings.

In the words of Irina Veliyeva, a leading analyst of Standard & Poor’s, “our rating methodology assumes that some banks are already nationally recognized and that the state would give them support more willingly than to any others if they find themselves in a financial fix.”

Standard & Poor’s Credit Rating Agency has awarded Sviaz-Bank the obligor long-term BB rating and the short-term B rating.
