OREANDA-NEWS. February 06, 2014. According to the General State Tax Inspectorate, the state treasury revenue in the first month of this year exceeded the indicators planned for the period by 13% (65 million lei) and as compared with January of the last year they have increased by more than 30% (134 million lei).

GSTI explains these results by the activity of the State tax service to improve tax administration, introduction of new policies and practices in line with the slogan "tax employee at the taxpayer’s service".

GSTI management has made an emphasis on voluntary compliance with tax legislation, education and training of both citizens and tax employees that gave necessary results.
