Kazakhstan Develops Safe Aviation Program
OREANDA-NEWS. February 05, 2014. A safe aviation program will be developed in Kazakhstan. This was reported today by the Minister of Transport and Communications Askar Zhumagaliyev at the enlarged board meeting.
"Companies will be made responsible for poor service when flights are delayed. Air inspectors’ status has been appointed and control has been tightened to remove the airlines from the so-called "black list". A safe aviation program will be developed," A. Zhumagaliyev said.
According to him, a law regulating the operation of all types of transport was adopted on July 4, 2013. Electronic ticketing has been introduced for the convenience of passengers. Modern standards of bus stations and carriers were identified.
"We made a big step in terms of introduction advanced telecommunications technologies. The work to improve the quality of cellular communication services is in the process. Though sometimes connection is lost, or there is no 3G internet even in Astana," B. Sagintayev said at the board meeting of the Ministry of Transport and Communications.
According to him, this question must be normalized not only by the operators of cellular communication services.
"We can not make reference to the operators themselves all the time, but it is necessary to regulate this problem by some normative documents. Even here, there is no 3G in this conference room, and this is the building of the Ministry of Transport and Communications," Deputy Prime Minister addressed Askar Zhumagaliyev.
According to B. Sagintayev it is each operator that is responsible for availability and quality of mobile communication services.
