OREANDA-NEWS. February 04, 2014. The Liberal Democratic Party (PLDM) will propose to be created a Stabilisation and Assistance Fund for producers facing external challenges and embargoes. This is one of the priorities of the formation for 2014, declared by the Liberal Democrat leader, Vlad Filat.

“It is a measure necessary for the economic agents and I believe we will have the partners’ support in this respect,” Filat said.

The Agriculture and Food Industry Minister Vasile Bumacov said the fund might be created yet in 2014. “It is about additional funds and funds from projects, which will be especially directed to those who have suffered from these interdictions,” Bumacov said. The minister added that actions had been already taken to this end.

In last September, the Russian Federation ceased the Moldovan wines import. The official data showed that Moldova inflicted losses worth about 3.3 million dollars monthly. So far, it is not known when the wine export to Russia will be renewed.
