OREANDA-NEWS. Vladimir Chernikov has been appointed Director General of Ingosstrakh-Life Insurance Company LLC. His major duties in the office will include development of the company business, the increasing of its market share, consolidation of the insurer's base of operations. From July, 2011, Vladimir Chernikov worked in Ingosstrakh Insurance Company as Director of Corporate Business Department, and approved himself highly professional and efficient manager capable of successfully solving difficult unconventional tasks.

Vladimir Chernikov was born in Kiev in 1969. Graduated from Military Institute of the Red Banner under the Ministry of Defense of USSR (Военный Краснознаменный Институт МО СССР), Oriental Languages Department, in 1991. Underwent on-the-job trainings in foreign insurance companies such as AXA, IF, POHJOLA, Tapiola, Achmea, Interpolis and took study courses in Austrian Insurance Academy. Graduated from Ashridge Business School (Great Britain) with a major in Insurance and Management and National Economy Academy under the aegis of the Government of the Russian Federation with a major in Finance and Credit in 2009.

From 1993-1998, V. Chernikov worked in Rossiya Insurance Company, Ingosstrakh Insurance Company, making his way up from chief specialist of Motor Transport Insurance Department to Deputy Head of Land Transport Insurance Administration. Held the post of the First Deputy Director General of Gruppa Renessans Strakhovanye LLC (ООО "Группа Ренессанс Страхование") from 1998-2006. Before he came to Ingosstrakh Insurance Company V. Chernikov worked as the First Deputy Director of ORANTA Insurance Ltd. (included into Achmea (Netherlands)).
