To implement the project, 19 antennas of base stations were set up with active slot cable exceeding 11 km in length, and over 11 km of fiber optic cable were laid.
The MegaFon monitoring control center operates round-the-clock controlling network quality, including each Olympic facility. It has also been interacting with the Olympic Control Center of the Organizing Committee Sochi 2014 from January 7, 2014. Leading up to February 7th, the network quality at separate venuess, interaction and regulations will all be fine-tuned with different agencies to ensure safe and secure communication at the Olympics.

MegaFon's network worked successfully under the increased loads.
