OREANDA-NEWS. For 2014 environmental protection financing was provided UAH 6.9 billion, which is on UAH 1.3 billion (23.4%) more than in 2013, including National Fund for Environmental Protection - UAH 3.5 billion against UAH 1.5 billion in 2013.
It should be noted that this year`s state budget environmental component is more concretized.
UAH 1.2 billion was provided on targeted projects financial support of enterprises ecological modernization in order to reduce negative impact on environment.
Also in 2014 will continue implementation of targeted "green" environmental investments with funds obtained from sale of assigned amount of greenhouse gases.
To solve water providing problem were included additional costs (UAH 324 million) for:
- Electricity payment for functioning of Water Management and reclamation complex – UAH 100 million;
- Implementation of targeted programs to ensure water reservoirs budgetary fill and other water bodies of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea - UAH 44 million;
- Implementation of measures aimed at recovery of Seversky Donets river and improve ecological conditions in Kharkiv, Luhansk and Donetsk regions - UAH 180 million.
