OREANDA-NEWS. January 29, 2014. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) initiaed a case against the Government and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Chelyabinsk region.

According to the Head of FAS Department for Control over Chemical Industry and Agro-Industrial Complex, Anna Mirochinenko, the case was initiated upon the results of considering a petition of “Uralbroiler” CJSC. The Procedures for granting subsidies in 2013-2015, adopted by the Government of the Chelyabinsk region create discriminatory conditions for economic entities that combine poultry production with production of other livestock products in breach of Part 1 Article 15 of No. 135-FZ Federal Law “On Protection of Competition”.

In the course of an additional analysis FAS established that the Ministry of Agriculture of the Chelyabinsk region also should be brought into the proceedings as law enforcers specified in the Procedures for granting subsidies.

Due to such actions of the Government and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Chelyabinsk region, FAS asks all interested persons to submit information about possible violation of their rights by calling (499) 795-23-23 or via e-mail: perevozchikov@fas.gov.ru, contact person – Maxim Perevozchikov.
