OREANDA-NEWS. The Board of Directors of Nordea 1, SICAV has decided to terminate the Sub-fund Nordea 1 – Polish Equity Fund (the “Sub-Fund”) taking effect on 27 February 2014.

The assets under management in the Sub-Fund reached a level that no longer allows to manage the Sub-Fund in an economically reasonable way.

As of 17 February 2014, Shares in this Sub-Fund are no longer issued, redeemed or converted. The NAV calculation is suspended from 17 February to 27 February 2014. The liquidation costs (including but not limited to publication and translation fees) will be borne by the Management Company, Nordea Investment Funds S.A.

All assets and liabilities will be realised and the net proceeds of the realisation will be distributed in proportion to your holdings at the liquidation price calculated for the 27 February 2014.

Any amount not claimed by any Shareholder will be deposited at the close of the liquidation with the Custodian Bank, Nordea Bank S.A. at 562, rue de Neudorf, L-2220 Luxembourg, Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. Within a period of 6 months after the decision to liquidate the Sub-fund, any outstanding amount will be deposited in escrow with the Caisse de Consignation in Luxembourg.
