OREANDA-NEWS. January 28, 2014. During 2013 more than 100,000 new subscribers of RUE Beltelecom were connected via GPON technology that became a major breakthrough in the implementation of this technology in our country. Total number of subscribers connected via GPON technology reached 130,000.

The new technology is being implemented by Beltelecom throughout the country: in new and existing residential areas, offices and public buildings in Minsk, regional and major district centers. At the end of 2013 total number of households allowing provision of GPON-based services exceeded 2,200.

Currently subscribers getting connected to Beltelecom services via GPON technology can take advantage of special offers and get discounts for tariff plans within "Record" line valid till the end of 2014.
