Shvabe Reaches Agreements with U.S., Canada, and Hong Kong
OREANDA-NEWS. The company Shvabe Defense and Security reached agreements to supply its products at the U.S. hunting and sporting weapons exhibition Shot Show-2014.
At the exhibition the company introduced optics specimens, including day, night, and all-use sights, as well as sights with interchangeable zoom, night vision devices, monoculars, and laser rangefinders.
“Contracts were signed to supply the U.S., Canada, and Hong Kong with the finest examples of weapons sights made at Shvabe Defense and Security,” the company reported.
Proposals for long-term cooperation were also made by made by the representatives of countries in southeast Asia.
According to Sergei Maksin, general director of Shvabe, contracts for the supply of weapons sights in North America and Asia have made for a great start to the year for Shvabe Defense and Security, formerly Novosibirsk Instrument Plant, a subsidiary of the holding company Shvabe.
The company produces 30% civil and 70% military defense products. The company’s specialty is equipping Russian land forces with optical and observation technologies.
The holding company Shvabe brings together key enterprises of Russia’s optoelectronic industry in Russia that develop and manufacture high-tech optoelectronic systems for military and civilian purposes, optical materials, and medical equipment, as well as energy-saving lighting equipment.
