OREANDA-NEWS. In the field of education 2014funding provided UAH 108.3 billion, which is on UAH 8.4 billion (8.4%) more than in 2013, taking into account the additional costs of:
- The remuneration of labor in education - UAH 4 billion;
- UAH 338.5 million for upgrading playgrounds of secondary schools. (social initiatives of the President of Ukraine);
- Pre-schools network expansion and playgrounds modification - UAH 255.4 million. (social initiatives of the President of Ukraine );
- Provision of meals (breakfast) for 5-11 grades students of secondary schools - UAH 607 mln.
- Providing a one-time targeted support for young employees who have completed education in state and municipal ownership in current year, employment contracts concluded for a period of not less than three years from institutions, companies, institutions and organizations of state and municipal property, located in villages and employed as teachers, medical and pharmaceutical workers - UAH 100 million;
- Rehabilitation and recreation of children who need special attention and support in ICC "Artek" and DC "Young Guards" camps - UAH 70 million;
- indexing students scholarship, postgraduate students, as well as increase from 1of January 2014, amount of scholarships for university students who study on "excellent" grates - UAH 0.5 billion.
Also expenditures are provided on:
- Publishing , purchasing, storage and delivery of textbooks for high school students , students of secondary and vocational schools and preschools – UAH 424.7 million. In comparison – UAH 243,2 million in 2013 ;
- Payment of state social assistance to orphans and children deprived of parental care, allowance to foster parents for providing social services in orphanages and foster families on the principle "money follow child" - UAH 0,6  billion.
