OREANDA-NEWS. In the Voronezh region, the region where the new EUROCEMENT group high-tech plant is located, the Holding has been providing significant charitable assistance to educational, health and wellness, cultural and religious institutions for many years.

The most ambitious charity project in 2013 was sponsoring the VI All-Russian Cossack festival 'Cossack brotherhood' which took place in the village of Kolodezhnoe of the Podgorensky district in the Voronezh region. EUROCEMENT group has been a partner of the festival since 2009.

The objective of the festival is the preservation and development of traditional Cossack culture and music songwriting, the expansion of international and cultural cooperation. The initiator and organizer of this festival is the administration of the Podgorensky municipal district. The festival is supported by the Ministry of Culture and the Department of Culture and Archives of the Voronezh region.

EUROCEMENT group continues to participate in a project for developing sports in the Voronezh region, including assisting in the reconstruction of the stadium and improvement of the Olymp sports and recreation complex in the settlement of Podgorensky.

In 2013 the Holding sponsored events dedicated to the Slavonic Literature and Culture Day in Rossosh, helping to manufacture and install a monument of Slavic Writing and help in repairing the Trinity Church in the village of Podgornoye. The company also annually allocates funds to conduct activities commemorating Victory Day in the Podgorensky area.

In October 2013 a new factory team at EUROCEMENT group donated funds to the All-Russian charity campaign of kindness and mercy "White Flower", whose aim is to help children suffering from cancer. The funds collected were transferred to the Trinity Church in the settlement of Podgorensky and the organizing committee of the event, which allocated the money for the children's families. A prayer was said in the Trinity Church for the health of the children.

At the end of the year the company also took part in the "Children's Subscription Charity" program by giving a subscription to youth publications in the first half of 2014 to pupils at the Podgorensky social rehabilitation center for minors. Children aged 3 to 16 years will receive issues of thirty periodicals that are useful for their mental and creative development.

The company's participation in the Christmas party charity event has become a nice annual tradition in the settlement of Podgorensky. The funds collected at the event are spent on social needs and support for children, orphans and needy families in the Podgorensky district.
