Retail Sales Network of TATNEFT Presents Results of Year
OREANDA-NEWS. January 27, 2014. The activities of the retail sales network of JSC TATNEFT in 2013 resulted in commissioning 18 filling stations, 1 automatic filling station, 7 gas stations and 7 gas terminals as part of the operating filling stations.
The JSC TATNEFT Group of Companies operated 648 filling stations with 524 of them located in the territory of the Russian Federation, 114 filling stations - in the territory of the Ukraine and 10 stations located in the Republic of Belarus.
The volume of retail and small scale wholesale sales of petroleum and gas products through the network of JSC TATNEFT's filling stations in 2013 amounted to more than 1.6 million tons.
Taking into account the current trend of converting vehicles to natural gas, there are either gas blocks commissioned annually at the retail network facilities of TATNEFT or additional dispensers are installed at the filling stations.
After passing through all the stages of drying, purification and separation associated petroleum gas becomes a cheaper and environmentally friendly fuel, allowing at the same time for increasing the engine lifetime.
There are energy-efficient, energy-saving and environmentally friendly technologies applied at the filling stations of JSC TATNEFT. Filling stations are completed with fuel dispensers with vapor recovery systems are introduced at the filling stations, "bottom loading" fuel carrier equipment is used allowing to implement a closed loop cycle of petroleum products discharge at the filling stations, i.e. air-water-vapor mixture will not get into the air. Pilot projects on introduction of vapor recovery units (ULF) with application of modern engineering developments significantly improve the environmental situation around the filling stations and the petroleum tank farms.
The priorities of the TATNEFT's filling stations include high quality fuel and services. The guaranteed quality of petroleum products at the filling stations is ensured by strict criteria in the selection of the manufacturer; compliance with technological discipline and regulatory requirements at the reception, storage, transportation and distribution of petroleum products, as well as by thorough monitoring of the process equipment condition and timely routine maintenance.
