OREANDA-NEWS. January 27, 2014. Igor Sechin, Rosneft President and Chairman of the Management Board, held a working meeting with Rex Tillerson, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Exxon Mobil Corporation.

The parties discussed the implementation of ongoing projects, including the construction of an LNG plant on Sakhalin, design solutions for developing of the Northern tip of the Chaivo field, provision of drilling works for the Arctic offshore, cooperation on developing fields with tight oil reserves, as well as Rosneft’s participation in international joint ventures.

The parties considered prospects for developing the companies’ cooperation, in particular, potential joint offshore projects.
