Centravis Announces Corporate Social Responsibility Results for 2013
OREANDA-NEWS. CENTRAVIS provides financing of social programs in four key areas: youth education, support of vulnerable groups, in particular children, orphans and children with special needs, medicine and health development and corporate volunteering. Over 2013 CENTRAVIS successfully implemented a number of projects in the framework of corporate social responsibility.
Social project "One pupil - one PC" was initiated in October. Twenty-five first-graders and their teachers were provided with special personalized net-books. Training class was equipped with multimedia beamer and whiteboard.
In addition, 10 children with special educational needs studying at home as well as their teachers received laptops with free Internet access.
Resource Educational Center for advanced technologies studying created a year earlier based on one of the schools was equipped with acoustic system, printer, headsets and air conditioner. This Center also includes English Speaking Club arranged by CENTRAVIS for the best Nikopol students.
Another direction of charity work is the Family Project. In 2013 Saint Nikolas Day celebration, trips to chocolate museum and Sophievka Dendro Park, visit to Moscow water circus were arranged for more than 500 children from needy families. Furthermore, CENTRAVIS purchased construction materials to repair the dormitory of the boarding school "Garmonia".
As a part of corporate volunteering program the Company's employees planted hundreds of young shrubs and mounted a playground. In St. Nicholas Day CENTRAVIS team collected and delivered gifts to children from needy families.
The Company has been providing a targeted social assistance to medical institutions for already six years. In 2013, two hospitals were provided with up-to-date medical equipment.
CENTRAVIS implements social investment program aimed at development of economic and cultural potential of Nikopol and Dnepropetrovsk region on an on-going basis.
