OREANDA-NEWS. “Predesign works on the construction of first nuclear power plant in Vietnam, Ninh Thuan 1, have been accomplished in accordance with the concluded contract', - said Maxim Elchischev, Advisor to President of JSC “E4 Group”, who is responsible for the execution of this project. “On December 24, 2013 we submitted a full set of documents -Site Dossier and Feasibility Study for the Project. It allows us talking about meeting the general schedule of NPP construction”.

Also, Mr. Elchischev noted that “As for the safety on nuclear sites mentioned by Prime Minister of Vietnam, Mr Nguen Tan Zung, we totally share his stance. Here we may only add that the documentation we have developed takes into consideration “the lessons taught by Fukushima” and corresponds to up-to-date Russian standards on nuclear facilities safety, which are deemed to be stricter and provide maximum safety and reliability of NPP”.
