OREANDA-NEWS. State Corporation 'Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs (Vnesheconombank)' and the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS) entered into an Agreement on Cooperation. On behalf of Vnesheconombank the Agreement was signed by Vnesheconombank Chairman Vladimir Dmitriev and on behalf of RAS - by President Vladimir Fortov.

The Agreement provides for promoting all-round and effective cooperation to formulate and carry out the government innovation policy. The parties identified the following lines of their cooperation:
* creating conditions for introducing domestic scientific developments in the real sector of the economy;
* implementing innovation projects supported by RAS in various industrial sectors;
* conducting independent expert examination of innovation technologies and technical solutions to invest in them;
* developing professional education aimed at introducing advanced technologies and innovations;
* developing continuing professional education;
* developing research activities designed to create new technologies.
