OREANDA-NEWS. Idemitsu Kosan Co.,Ltd. announces that its subsidiary, Idemitsu Snorre Oil Development Co., Ltd. participated in the APA2013 Licensing Round implemented by the Norwegian government in September 2013 through its Norwegian subsidiary Idemitsu Petroleum Norge AS and subsequently was awarded interest of one production license on January 21, 2014.

The license is located in the Norwegian Sea, where many oil and gas fields are producing, approximately 200km northwest of the coast.
