OREANDA-NEWS. January 23, 2014. The Government supports the development of high-tech industries. This was stated by Prime Minister Mykola Azarov after visiting Kyiv state enterprise of a special instrumentation Arsenal.

The Prime Minister stressed that after the normalization of relations with the Russian Federation will activate production in high-tech industries, particularly in the aerospace industry.

"Ukraine will pursue a policy of conservation, enhancement and development of our high-tech industries. I’m convinced personally today that we have the potential," Mykola Azarov said.

The Head of Government acquainted with modern samples of products for space, which is based on the unique domestic developments, and discussed with representatives of the largest domestic instrument-making enterprises prospects of increasing the scientific, technical and industrial cooperation with Russia.

"Almost in all enterprises an increase in production volumes has been recorded. This is due to the expansion of our cooperation with Russia. This happened after the agreements of the presidents of Ukraine and Russia. It is clear that so quickly resume cooperation impossible. But the strategic decision to resume cooperation made and definitely it will help loaded our factories and enterprises. This high-tech and high-skilled jobs, "- said Mykola Azarov.

The Prime Minister recalled that the development of instrumentation is defined in the law as one of the strategic directions of innovation activity in Ukraine. Now the more than 400 companies, which employ 70000 workers, are operated. Activities of key enterprises are concentrated in manufacturing devices for aerospace, aviation, rocket and space technology, which are exported to Russia, China, Sweden, India, the U.S. and other countries.

"These developments, which we have seen today, only five countries have. And our solutions are no worse, and sometimes even surpass developments of United States, China and other countries," - Mykola Azarov summed up.
