Incentives Allocated to Private Sector in Moldova
OREANDA-NEWS. January 22, 2014. Incentives allocated to the private sector in MoldovaJSCB "Moldindconbank" S.A. in cooperation with Energy Efficiency Fund (EEF) offers new financing opportunities for energy efficiency and use of renewable energy sources projects.
Beneficiaries of this project may be juridical and physical persons acting as entrepreneurs in the Republic of Moldova.
Credit resources will be allocated for energy efficiency and/or use of renewable energy resources investment projects, as follows:
purchase of equipment, machinery and tools;
modernization of thermal power plants within buildings;
isolation of walls, doors, windows, roofs, ceilings;
construction of solar thermal installations;
streamline the functioning of heating and air conditioning systems;
streamline the indoor and outdoor lighting systems;
acquisition of systems for generation and distribution of heat;
other energy projects, including: implementation of energy management control system; purchase of air compressors; installation of new equipment which use renewable sources of energy and others.
The projects will be financed in the form of loans with a 20-40% incentive component allocated by EEF or in the form of partially guaranteed loans by FEE in favor of BC "Moldindconbank" S.A.
The maximum amount of credits is 3.000.000 MDL which will be granted for a period of up to 60 months.
Energy Efficiency Fund operates in accordance with the legislation in force of the Republic of Moldova and achieves its objectives in accordance with the strategies and programs developed by the Government. FEE promotes the financing of feasible projects in terms of economic, technical and environmental criteria, with the aim to ensure the sustainability of energy consumption, decrease the energy intensity and reduce the greenhouse gas emissions.
