OREANDA-NEWS. Parallel, a large petroleum products retailer in Ukraine's east, has signed a new direct contract for fuel supply with ORLEN Lietuva oil group. In 2013, its plants supplied 166,000 tonnes of fuel under similar contract conditions, and in 2014 this figure has increased by more than a quarter. As before, the contact offers an opportunity to buy additional spot volumes to ensure the growing demand for fuel at Parallel filling stations.

Class A petrol produced by Mazeikiai Oil Refinery (in Lithuania, a part of ORLEN Lietuva) will be delivered exclusively for Parallel network. In cold season, drivers fill their cars with winterised fuel, in demi-season - with transitional fuel, and in May Parallel filling stations will start selling a special Class A summer petrol 95 and 92, which is best in the hot weather.

“We seek to provide our clients with products of the highest quality. To this end, we've been increasing direct supplies from the plant of our permanent and long-standing partner oil concern ORLEN that provides us with high-quality fuel, which meets the Euro 5 standards. Parallel is the only petroleum products retailer in Ukraine's east offering Class A petrol Perfekt, which is in great demand in hot weather,” noted the CEO of Parallel Yelena Khiliyenko.

“Parallel has been one of our strategic partners in Ukraine for several years. This year, Parallel leads Ukrainian companies in terms of purchasing our fuel, and the idea to ensure exclusive supplies of Class A petrol came from Parallel,” said Igor Maystrenko, head of ORLEN Lietuva's representative office in Ukraine.
