OREANDA-NEWS. January 21, 2014. As a reminder, International Launch Services Inc.(ILS) and Intelsat S.A., a U.S. satellite operator, announced in March 2013 their signing a contract for launching two  spacecrafts on the Proton M launch vehicle.

ILS declared that the first of the two spacecrafts would be DLA-2 (otherwise known as Intelsat 31) and that its launch was being planned for 2015.

The name of the second spacecraft and its launch date are to be reported at a later time.
