OREANDA-NEWS. The state budget law for 2014 and the presidential decree on its promulgation will be published in the Official Paper (Monitorul Oficial) on 21 January.

The state budget law provides for revenues worth about 25.814 billion lei and expenses of 28.217 billion lei. The budget deficit will be 2.4 billion lei. Authorities are set to cover the budget deficit from incomes of state securities placed on the primary market, foreign loans and means from the sale and privatisation of public assets.

Fiscal revenues represent most of the budget revenues forecast for 2014. They are followed by non-fiscal revenues, revenues from special funds and special means. Among the fields to get most money from the state budget this year there are: social assistance, education, health, transport, agriculture.

The subsidies for agricultural producers amount to half a billion lei.
