OREANDA-NEWS. In 2013, the car sales of SOLLERS GROUP, which represents such brands as UAZ, SsangYong and ISUZU, amounted to 97,394 vehicles. This is below the results for 2012 by 3% when the Group sold 100,196 vehicles of these brands.

The sales of SsangYong vehicles show a stable growth. In 2013, they increased by 9%. 34,055 vehicles of that brand have been sold over this period compared to 6328 a year before. The crossover SsangYong Actyon remains the flagship of Korean brand as its sales increased by 26% during this period. In the fall of 2013, a restyled version of the car with an updated exterior and interior has been launched in the Russian market. The crossover is available in three package versions with high-tech 2.0-liter 149-horsepower eXDi diesel engine and gasoline unit with the same capacity and power.

In 2013, the sales of UAZ off-road vehicles on the domestic and export markets amounted to 62,044 units, which is 9% less than in the previous year. However, the export sales in this period increased by a record 37% to reach 10,421 vehicles. In 2013, the growth was led by UAZ Pickup with the sales up by 9%. At the same time, UAZ Patriot off-road vehicle remains the most popular model among the buyers despite the sales declining by 5% in 2013.

The sales of ISUZU light commercial vehicles and trucks in 2013 amounted to 1,295 units, which is 75% higher than in 2012. Over this period, the sales of ISUZU trucks grew by 86% and amounted to 1083 vehicles, while the sales of light commercial vehicles increased by 36% (to 212 vehicles). Such significant sales increase has been made possible with the 2013 launch in the Russian market of three new N- and F-series ISUZU models, which quickly gained the trust of buyers.
