Moldova Allocates 55,49 mn Lei Out of 57,38 mn Lei from Reserve Fund
OREANDA-NEWS. January 20, 2014. As it agency was informed in the Ministry of Finance, the largest part of the funds - 16 million 215,5 thousand lei were allocated to the Ministry of agriculture and food industry.
These funds have been spent on partial compensation of damage suffered by farmers due to the natural disasters in 2013 (15 million 965,5 thousand lei), as well as for partial coverage of expenses for holding "National wine day" (250 thousand lei). More than 4.2 million lei from the reserve fund were provided to the Ministry of justice for paying fees (USD340 thousand) to the legal firm DLA Piper, which represents the interests of the government of Moldova on the case Franck Charles Arif versus Moldova. About 4.3 million lei were allocated to the Ministry of youth and sports for covering expenses on preparation and participation of the National Olympic team of Moldova in the European youth Olympic festival 2013 in Utrecht (Holland), Winter Olympic games in Sochi in 2014 (Russia) and the Olympic games among young people-2014 in Nanjing (China).
More than 1.78 million lei from the government reserve fund were allocated to the State Chancellery for payment of the National award of Moldova 2013 (1 million lei), cover the costs of preparation of medals, diplomas, purchase of flowers for the laureates of this prize, etc (212,1 million lei). 422 thousand lei were provided to cover the expenses of participation of the delegation of Moldova in the Eastern partnership summit in Vilnius on November 28-29. 64.1 thousand lei more were directed to carry out the activities devoted to the 72nd anniversary of mass deportations from Moldova, 49.6 thousand lei - for funeral of the writer Dumitru Matcovschi.
The Ministry of Finance received about 1.8 million lei for payment of fee (100 thousand euros) to the legal firm Buruiana&Partners, representing the interests of the government on the case of the Ukrainian company "Energorynok" versus cabinet of ministers. The Ministry of culture received approximately 2.5 million lei, 529 thousand lei of which were allocated to cover preparation and participation in the Eurovision song contest-Eurovision Song Contest in 2013, Malmo (Sweden), 660 thousand lei - for organization of Days of Japanese culture in Moldova in the Eugene Ionesco theater, 455 thousand lei - for the purchase of curtain and lighting equipment for Eugene Ionescu theater, 308,9 thousand lei - for installation of the pedestal of the monument to Dumitru Cantemir on the territory of the Museum "Tsaritsino" in Moscow, 160 thousand lei - for the production of copies of the bust of the writer Grigore Vieru, installed on the alley of classics in Chisinau for donation it to Macedonia and installation in Skopje, 212,5 thousand lei for the repayment of debts to the company Coloana Infinitului, and 170 thousand lei to the magazine Limba romana.
The Ministry of Defense has received 495,6 thousand lei; more than 200 thousand lei of which were used for organization and holding the events devoted to the Day of the victory and memory of the heroes who died for the country's independence. MFAEI has received 49,1 thousand lei for organizing the trip and participation of the Prime Minister Iurie Leanca in the 68th session of the UN General Assembly and 14.3 thousand lei for his participation in the meeting of the Moldova-EU cooperation in Luxembourg on June 24-26, 2013.
The Ministry of regional development and construction has been allocated about 3 million lei to compensate costs for design and construction of kindergarten for 120 places in Saiti village, Causeni region, etc. The Agency for material reserves were provided with 887 thousand lei, mainly to cover the cost of goods allocated to the settlements affected by natural disasters. Academy of Sciences of Moldova received 250 thousand lei for edition of encyclopedia "National symbols of Moldova". In general, central public administration bodies were allocated approximately 36.8 million lei. The remaining funds of the reserve fund worth 18.7 million lei were allocated in December to various regional councils for the repair of different objects, development of infrastructure, etc.
