OREANDA-NEWS. January 20, 2014. Such a budget was approved by the organizing committee for Moldova to take part in this international exposition. According to the press service of the Economy Ministry, MDL 15 million are provided from the state budget, the rest of the money is expected to be provided by Moldova's partners.

The Organizing committee also outlined measures for Moldova's participation in Expo Milano-2015. By the end of Q1 2014, the tender is to be held to select a builder of Moldova’s exhibition pavilion. Moldova has to be prepared to the exhibition very well, Chair of the Committee, Economy Minister of Moldova Valeriu Lazar said. “The exhibition is expected to be attended by about 20,000 comers and we have a unique opportunity to promote our country as a producer of perfect foods.

And we have to get the most out of this opportunity”, Valeriu Lazar said. As it was said earlier, World Expo -2015 is held in Milan, Italy, on May, 1-31, 2015 under the slogan “Feeding the Planet. Energy for Life”. Our country will take part in the exhibition for the third time. Moldova’s pavilion at the exhibition in Milan is going to be located at one of 9 show sites of The Cluster Project, divided into sections depending on a kind and an origin of the agricultural production producer countries are going to present there.

A distinguishing element of Moldova’s pavilion will be a Sun Flower, whose stem will end with a cube made of plate glass and reflecting sunrays, transferring them onto sides of another cube, placed above the pavilion. One more distinctive feature of the pavilion will be a movie about Joc, a dance group from Moldova, whose dances embody a nature and vigour of the people of Moldova. Visitors of the exhibition will be able to watch the movie even outside the pavilion, because its walls will be transparent.

The Sun Flower and the movie will attract comers into an area where organic food made in Moldova will be presented. Visitors will be shown the entire process of its production, starting from planting and finishing with selling. Besides, they will be offered to taste Moldovan wine and cuisine.
